I like to travel and I like to drink whisk(e)y, so I have been compiling a list of whisky bars for the last twelve years (over 1,000). Initially, just Scotch whisky, but it has expanded to cover all whiskies from Bourbon, Rye, Australian, Irish, Japanese, Canadian, Scotch, Taiwanese, or any other type of whisk(e)y.

After years of research and recommendations, I have noticed that the internet may be an obvious resource, but it does not easily give up its information. For instance many really good bars don't have websites, or they have a website with limited information or a Facebook page that doesn't really give any information as to their whisky selections.
